Description
Skips General
The skip hire period is a maximum of 10 Days, if no collection has been arranged The skip will automatically be collected after this period. Earlier collections or extended periods can be arranged by request.
3Pm cut off for guaranteed next day delivery.
Wait & Load
We offer a wait and load service free of charge up to 1/2 hour on site – extra time is charged at £30.00 per hour pro rota.
Level Loads Only
Containers are only to be filled so they form a level top with the side of the skip. If the driver considers the load unsafe we will be unable to move the container. If overloaded, but considered safe to transport, a surcharge will be levied.
Hazardous / Difficult Materials – what cannot be placed in a skip
No hazardous materials must be placed in the skip, including but not limited to, asbestos, fridges, tv’s or other monitors, tyres, liquids, Mattresses, paints and solvents. Materials of this type placed in a skip could endanger our staff and will incur the hirer additional charges or the material returned to your site.
Burning in the Skip
Damage due to fire or defacement of the skip container will be charged accordingly back to the hirer. Theft of containers are also charged at the standard retail rate, back to the hirer.
